Analytics cookies, only if you accept

This website uses Google Analytics 4 behind a consent banner. Until you accept, the analytics code does not load and no analytics cookie is set. There is no advertising pixel and no embedded third party widget on any page.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets two first party cookies:

• _ga: tells one visitor from another. Lasts up to two years.
• _ga_ followed by our property code: keeps track of the current visit. Lasts up to two years.

To remember your answer, the site stores your choice (accepted or declined) in your browser's local storage. That entry is not a cookie, is never sent to us or to Google, and exists only so the banner does not ask again on every page.

The apps have no cookies at all

Cookies are a web browser mechanism. ExplorePDF does not use browser cookies while it reads or changes a document. Choosing Help opens this website in your browser, where the website rules on this page apply.

What your browser may still store

Our content delivery network may set a strictly necessary cookie to keep the site available and to block abusive traffic. A cookie of this kind is exempt from consent requirements under EU and UK rules because the site cannot be delivered securely without it. It is not used to track you across sites and carries no advertising identifier.

Changing your choice

• Declining is as easy as accepting: one click in the banner, with no dark pattern.
• The Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page reopens the banner at any time.
• Withdrawing turns the tag off and deletes the analytics cookies listed above.
• Website analytics never extends to the apps, which do not run in-app analytics.

Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies in its settings. Blocking everything from this site will not break anything here, because nothing here depends on one.
