Reduce the size of a PDF

Steps

1. 1

   Open the PDF and choose Reduce File Size.

   Review the app's analysis of the document and the measured size it can save.

3. 3

   On Apple devices, leave Keep Metadata selected unless you want the new copy to omit document metadata.

   Check any warning about document features before continuing.

   If the result is smaller, choose Save a Copy and select a name and location.

6. 6

   Open the new PDF and check the pages you care about. The original file remains unchanged.
