Place your signature on a PDF

Place a visible picture of your signature on a page.

MaciPhoneiPadAndroid

This is a picture of your signature, not a digital signature.

Steps

  1. Open the PDF and choose Sign.

  2. Create a signature or choose one already stored on this device.

  3. Choose the page where the signature should appear.

  4. Place and resize the signature so it covers the intended area.

  5. Review the page before saving. ExplorePDF refuses a placement that covers nothing or would be lost with the selected pages.

  6. Choose Save a Copy, then choose a name and location. The visible signature is saved in a new PDF and the original stays unchanged.

What this signature means

ExplorePDF places a picture of your signature. It does not create a certificate-backed digital signature and does not make a claim about legal effect. The app refuses to alter a document that is already digitally signed when the change would invalidate that signature.
